B) Installation - top
The installation file can be found in [your download package]/installation/unlimited-timeline.zip
Step 1. Log into your WordPress Admin area.
Step 2. In the "Plugins" page, click “Add new” plugin
Step 3. In the "Add new" page, click "Upload plugin", then click “Browse” to browse for the plugin installation file in [path-to-your-downloaded-package]/Installation File/unlimited-timeline.zip). Click "Install Now".
Step 4. After installed successfully, click "Activate" to make the plugin active
Update
Step 1. Deactive "Unlimited timeline" plugin by going to Plugins > Deactive "Unlimited timeline" plugin
Step 2. Delete older version by clicking on Delete link. Confirm to delete.
Step 3. Update and re-install new version.
All settings will be saved. This is data-safe method.
C) Usage - top
Simple: go to any place which accepts shortcode, for example Post or Page. Click on the "Unlimited timeline button" in the editor or you can use visual composer to config.

- heading: Enter text heading of timeline
- style: Choose style for timeline, there are four style: simple, simple border, Simple border no arrow, Background image( Default: simple)
- post_type: Enter name of posttype ( Defaults: post)
- count: Enter number items of timeline ( Defaults: 6)
- posts_per_page: Enter number items per page
- ids: Enter list of ID, separated by a comma
- exclude: Enter list of ID exclude, separated by a comma
- start_date: Enter Start date, Date to retrieve posts after
- end_date: Enter End date, Date to retrieve posts before
- cat: List of cat ID (or slug), separated by a comma
- tag: list of tags, separated by a comma
- texonomy: Enter slug of custom texonomy
- order: Choose order for timeline, Designates the ascending or descending order of the 'orderby' parameter. (Defaults 'DESC')
- orderby: Choose orderby for timeline, Sort retrieved posts by parameter. (Defaults to 'date (post_date))
- meta_key: Enter custom field key, Show posts associated with a certain custom field
- hide_thumb: Choose "Yes" or "No" to show or hide Feature Image (Note: Hire thumb doesnot work with Background image Style)
- hide_share: Choose "Yes" or "No" to show or hide Sharing button
- time_since: Choose "Yes" to replace the date with "time ago"
D) Configuration - top
To go to Timeline Settings page, click on "Timeline Settings" menu item.
General Settings
- Style Choose tyle for all timeline
- Main color Choose main color for all timeline
- Main Font Family Enter name font-family, Google Fonts are supported. For example, if you choose "Source Code Pro" (https://www.google.com/fonts/)
- Load more icon Enter name of Awesome Icon (ex: fa-cog) (http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/)
Social Sharing Settings
Choose buton social you want to show.
Timeline custom content
Simple: go to any place which accepts shortcode, for example Post or Page. Click on the "Timeline content button" in the editor or you can use visual composer to config.
