Justin North

Justin North began his long established culinary career in fine dining restaurants in NZ and Europe before joining the team of young chefs at Banc under Liam Tomlin. He opened Bécasse restaurant in 2001 which went on to become one of the premier dining spots in Sydney, and was named Best European Restaurant in Australia and was awarded two chef’s hats which they kept from 2003-2011. Joining Hotel Centennial in 2014 provided a unique opportunity for Justin and his team to create a menu that showcased a fresh take on modern comfort food in a relaxed environment. Justin was recognised for his skill with the title of “Chef of the Year” from SMH Good Food Guide and was named GQ Chef of the Year in 2010. He has written award-winning cookbooks and has had many guest appearances on TV. Today Justin is co-founder and director with Concept Hospitality Australia.
